Dr. Jessica Peek was born and raised in Humphreys County. She attended the University of Tennessee for her undergraduate and veterinary education. Dr. Peek graduated from veterinary school in 2007, and began work at Waverly Animal clinic the following week. Dr. Peek worked as an associate veterinarian until buying the clinic in 2010. She is happily married to David Peek.They have 3 sons (Dustin, Dayton and Wyatt), 6 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses, a guinea pig, chickens, and cows. She enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, swimming and reading.
Dr. Abigail Moore grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee. She attended the veterinary school at the University of Tennessee. After graduating in 2008, she completed a one year Equine Ambulatory internship at Colorado State Veterinary Teaching Hospital that focused mostly on equine dentistry, medicine, and lameness. She has been practicing at the Waverly Animal Clinic since August 2009. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two children, four furry canines, and two horses.
Dr. Tiffani Justice grew up in a small town in northwestern Missouri. She received her education at the University of Missouri and graduated from the Veterinary Program in May of 2015. She immediately started working at Waverly Animal Clinic and absolutely loves Humphrey's County! She enjoys reading and horseback riding in her spare time. She lives with her fiance, Joshua Brush, and their 3-legged cat, Mustache.
Retha was born and raised in Humphreys County. She is happily married to Charles (Chuck) Nix.They have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Retha began working at Waverly Animal Clinic in 1977. Her hobbies include fishing and chasing grandchildren. She is a member of Ellis Grove Presbyterian Church.
Heather has worked at Waverly Animal Clinic since March 2013. She graduated from Waverly Central Highschool in 2012 and then continued to complete the Veterinary Technology Program at Columbia State in May 2015.Heather and Gene welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Claire, into the world on April 22, 2107. Heather has 3 dogs (Zues, Ares, and Phoebe) and 3 cats (Peanut, Reno, and Sarabi).
Terri was born and raised in the Chicago area and has lived in Tennessee for the past 30 years. She is a surgery technician who has worked as a human surgery technician, a CNA, a phlebotomist, and a veterinary assistant. Terri has worked at the Waverly Animal Clinic for a total of 4 years. Terri is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Alexis and Laken Rice. 2 dogs, Olaf and Whiskey and a cat Mauve.
Wanda has worked at Waverly Animal Clinic since June 2006. She has been married to her husband Ronnie for 25 ½ years. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They also have 4 furry dog friends, Chewy, Munchkin, Sassy, and Roscoe. They have lived in Waverly since 2002.
Alaina was born and raised in Waverly, TN. She graduated from Waverly Central Highschool in 2013. She is currently going to school at Penn Foster for veterinary technician training. She is also planning on completing her Bachelors in Criminal Justice in March of 2018. Alaina lives on a farm with her horses, ducks, chickens, and dogs. She loves being outdoors and playing with animals. She had been an employee at Waverly Animal Clinic of since 2016.
Brandie was born and Dickson and graduated from Dickson County Highschool in. She finished her training to be a veterinary technician at Columbia State Community College in May of 2017. After graduating she came straight to Waverly Animal Clinic. Brandie loves to ride horses in her spare time. She also loves spending time with her family, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 5 horses.
Traci was born on a farm in PA and moved to central Florida when she was 10 years old. She grew up learning to run the family Convenience Store and gas station. She has always had dogs, cats, and cows and her parents always made sure she had a horse to ride. Traci moved to Tennessee in 1995, and raised two beautiful boys into fine young men. She went back to school at the age of 43 and became a surgery technician. For the next 8 years, she was has a surgical technician in organ donation. Since Traci has always had a love for animals, she decided to come to Waverly Animal Clinic doing what she loves best….helping animals.
